根据CIPS年度全会上的投票结果，经英国女王枢密院批准，自2015年1月1日起CIPS的英文全称由The Chartered Instituteof Purchasing & Supply 改为The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply。CIPS的中文译名“英国皇家采购与供应学会”及英文缩写不变。

Following the majority‘yes vote’ at the CIPS Annual General Meeting, we have recently receivedacceptance from Her Majesty’s Privy Council to make agreed changes to the CIPSCharter and bye-laws.
This means that we cannow change the Institute's name to The Chartered Institute of Procurement& Supply and from January 2015 CIPS can offer Chartered Procurement andSupply Professional Status for suitably qualified and experiencedmembers.
CIPS will be reflectingthe name change across all marketing materials from the 15 October 2014 where aformal announcement will be made at the CIPS Australasia conference. Wherenecessary, could you please update any materials referencing CIPS as theChartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply and replace with: TheChartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
